Ø16-Summer Football
Hello, y’all!
It’s been a whirlwind and I feel like I just put one of these out! So far this summer has been fantastic and I hope yours is as well. We’ve been able to enjoy local festivities with the kids almost every weekend and really maximize our time outside while we can. We were also able to knock something off my bucket list: to see Bayern Munich play. Manchester City and Bayern came to Lambeau Field to play a friendly.
The game was super fun to watch even though we were completely drenched from the rain and had to go into the concourse a few times because of lightning strikes nearby. The sky was wild as the storm rolled past and the sun was starting to peak through.
I also had an opportunity to go see Rage Against the Machine at their opening show for their first tour in 11 years. It was such an amazing experience and I’m glad I was able to go see them.
Game Update
Progress has been slow this month, I’ve been primarily working on finishing up the power cell and terminal functionality and a bridge that can be powered up for the 3rd level. I’ve gotten them up and running but now I want to take a look at learning about state machines to clean up some of my code and make things more manageable.
I’m hoping the tail end of August will allow me to wrap the overall level functionality and start to work on the art and styling for the level.
