◾️SNM - Ø26 [ Demo Release]

We're officially on the tail end of summer, once the end of July hits and all the fall decor starts popping up in the stores you know it’s almost done.

We’ve got one last family trip planned for the summer then we’ll be settling into school routines which will bring a bit of a standard pattern to our weeks.

While we’re counting down the days we’ll continue to try and make the best of it and get outside as much as we can.

DIRE Updates

Narrative Update

I’ve been slowly revamping some of the story content, I didn’t feel the narrative was as strong as I wanted it to be. I’ve created a series of characters that the player will read about during their playthrough.

For each character, I’m trying to make it clear to me what their main goals are and what they’re trying to accomplish. Then I’m filtering their communication through that lens.

Hopefully, this will enhance the overall story for each character the player gets to read about and create interest in what they will read next.

Demo Release

With the focus on the narrative, I have to do another round of testing on the next level. Which is just about done. Once this testing is done the updated demo will go live next week on Gamejolt and Itchio.

What’s Next

Once the demo is out and live I’m going to go in and record a trailer. I haven’t promoted a ton but I think a trailer would be a good promotional asset that I can use here in the near future to get some more followers on the various platforms and start to put some content on youtube.
