Ø23 [ Demo Launch ]
👋 Hello,
Happy end of April! I hope everyone is having a great spring so far. I know I’m looking forward to the next few months of nice weather, our kid’s soccer league, and hopefully some nice bond fires.
Demo Launched
So it’s finally out there! After rebuilding a ton of stuff from scratch the demo for DIRE is live on Itch.io and Gamejolt!
It feels good to finally get it launched. Now that the early access demo is out there my focus is going to shift to wrapping up the rest of the levels and starting to promote it more on some social channels.
With a lot of things these days you need to really create an audience before you release anything or it will just get lost in the abundance of games that are out there.
With that in mind, I build a simple website in Framer for WorldZero. A place that I could direct folks to and eventually get them to either head to the game pages or sign up for this very newsletter.
Inspo
Well, Twitter decide that it wouldn’t have nice friendly embeds within the substack anymore. So while the children are fighting I apologize for not attributing anyone who provided this amazing inspiration.
Sorry, the format is a bit messed up with the lack of tweet embedding. I’ll try to find a better system next time.
