👋 Hello Y’all!
Hope everyone is staying warm this winter, we just got hit with a massive amount of snow. Kind of wish it was here in December and January, but I’ll take it now I guess if it means the kids can go out and go sledding and play. Nothing like a snowless cold winter to really make things bleak.
This year marks 12 years since my wife and I officially started dating. I can’t believe how long it’s been and how short it feels at the same time. We’ve had quite the adventure already and she’s always been my biggest supporter and pushes me to chase my dreams. I’m so thankful to be doing life with such an amazing person. I can’t wait to see what the next 12 years bring us and what new adventures come our way.
Global Game Jam ‘23
This year Green Bay hosted the Global Game Jam again. We had more participants than any other year, and I think we had one of the largest in the state which was pretty cool.
It’s inspiring to see so many people come together to try and build something together. It’s fun to meet new people and try something that you don’t normally do.
This year our group tried to make a Table Top Role Playing Game, we set out to try and do this over the course of the 3 days. We ended up with a pretty unique game system and a pretty crazy world.

After the weekend, I took a creative break to recharge so I don’t have many updates on Dire this month. More next month I promise.
