👋 Good morning!
Hope y’all are having a great summer. Personally, it’s been really nice in our area. We were able to take the family on a camping trip, did a bit of floating down the river, and exploring the outside. It’s always a nice way to refresh before getting back to the day-to-day.
Quick note, I changed the name of the newsletter to better align with all of the other platforms I’m on. Feel free to let me know what you think!
Strafe Blaster 2
I’ve launched my second and a half game just recently! I’m pretty stoked to put this out in the world, while it’s not perfect and not my full vision it’s pushed my knowledge and abilities further! I’m not sure what’s next on the project spectrum. I Have a few things in mind, but we’ll see where we land!
As with each month here are a few things that are really inspiring me lately. I’ve been really digging these more colorful and dimensional designs a lot. I think the added depth is amazing and the colors are just very inviting!
One the game space this is the most interesting concept I’ve seen and I love it! The way they captured the “car combat ballet” we see in so many movies and turned it into a fighting game is really awesome!
Finally, Luca has been a huge hit in this house. We’ve watched a bunch of times, made the pasta, and just really love the message and overall good summer movie!
I also recently gave a talk on customer journey mapping, app mapping, and app architecture. Which you can watch below. The idea is how can we unpack as much information before we need to wireframe anything! The resources are also available
